DSQS Training Requirements - Are Your Dispensers on the Right Course?
The Dispensing Services Quality Scheme has been in place since 2006 and many dispensing doctors have already signed up to participate in this scheme with their respective PCTs. One of the key requirements of the DSQS is dispenser training. It is of paramount importance to ensure that your dispensers undertake the correct training to meet the requirements of DSQS.
There are many courses for dispensers and many of them are very good and useful to increase the knowledge of your dispensers. However, it is important to be sure that the course that you select for DSQS actually meets the requirements as stipulated in the Supplementary Guidance for Revisions to the GMS Contract 2006/2007.
Surelines, in conjunction with DD&P Training are offering NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services and an equivalent award to dispensing doctors.
